In 2015, South East Asia Telecom Group (Seatel) discontinued its previous CDMA network, Excell, and launched a new network that exclusively operates on 4G/LTE technology. This network operates on 850 MHz and 2600 MHz (bands 5 and 7) and is accessible in all provinces, including Phnom Penh, Kandal, Preah Sihanouk, and Siem Reap. Recently, the company rebranded itself as yes 018.

This network provides high-speed internet connectivity of up to 150 Mbps and supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE). However, it does not offer fallback options for 2G and 3G networks. Most 4G-enabled smartphones, including iPhone 6 and newer models, are now compatible with this network. Today in this article, I will list Yes Seatel Prepaid Plans and Internet Packages 2023.

Availability

You can get a new 4G yes 018 SIM card in one of their stores for about $1.

Top-ups are available for $1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 50 in their shops, Wing Express, and Pay&Go kiosks giving 1 to 350 days of validity depending on their value. To top-up by voucher enter 1801*<voucher PIN>#, and to check your balance dial 1800*11*.

The basic line is the “One Plan”. Each $1 top-up extends validity by 90 days and has two data rates- 7 cents per MB when using a Value Pack balance (see below), and 1 cent per MB when using a regular top-up balance.

This is Yes’s version of the “exchange” promotions the other providers have. A small amount of credit can be grown to a much larger amount, in exchange for data being debited at a higher rate and the bonus amount lasting less time.

Tourist SIM

They have different plans with unlimited data to choose from:

• for 3 days: unlimited data, on-net calls, and SMS, $0.50 airtime – $3
• for 5 days: unlimited data, on-net calls, and SMS, $1 airtime – $5
• for 10 days: unlimited data, on-net calls, and SMS, $2.50 airtime – $10

Note that you need to have a 4G/LTE device capable of bands 3 and 5 and are restricted to their rather limited coverage area. So, it might not so convenient for traveling tourists, only when you stay at a spot with coverage for longer.
